Flame Retardant Vapour Control Layer
Flame Retardant Vapour Control Layer (VCL) for all roof and wall applications.
Reinforced polyethylene-based membrane using flame retardant materials.
Flame retardant materials are self-extinguishing, resistant to catching fire, reduce flammability, and inhibit, suppress or delay the production of flames.
Impermeable air barrier to increase air-tightness and increases energy efficiency within the building envelope.
FlameOut Block FR and FR Plus are Class B fire rated.
FlameOut Class A is Class A fire rated.
Available for delivery direct from the manufacturer with an approx. lead time of 2-3 days.

Fire Retardant vapour control layer for roof and wall applications
iTP\'s flame retardant vapour control membrane, FlameOut Block FR, is suitable for use in all roof and wall applications.
Core: FlameOut Block FR is a reinforced vapour control membrane made from fire retardant materials.
|FlameOut Block FR||FlameOut Block FR Plus||FlameOut Class A|
|Flame Retardant||Class B-S1,d0||Class B-S1,d0||Class A2-s1,d0|
|Tensile Strength||MD 500 / XD 500||MD 500 / XD 500||MD 1200 / XD 1200|
|Temperature Range||-40 to +70 °C||-40 to +70 °C||N/A|
|Water Vapour Resistance||> 70 Mns/g||> 130 Mns/g||> 20000 Mns/g|
As per EN 13859-2, Clause 5.2.2, in the case of the breather membrane or VCL being used on a supporting structure, further flame retardant testing of the structure may be needed to determine the flame retardancy of the construction due to a possible different flame retardancy of the supporting construction materials (e.g. wood).
FlameOut Block FR and FlameOut Block FR Plus are Class B-s1,d0 when free hanging or directly installed on a supporting substructure with a flame retardant classification of A1 or A2.
