Fire stopping solution for concrete floors, masonry and dry wall systems, following the creation of voids for the passage of services
Provides fire resistance up to 2 hours (50mm) and up to 4 hours (60mm).
Tested for air tightness, providing an additional smoke and acoustic seal.
Non-combustible – Euroclass A1.
Lightweight and simple to install. Easy to to repair if damaged. Requires little to no maintenance upkeep.
Made from diabase rock, which is a renewable and plentiful natural resource.
Does not contain gases that have ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP).

Rockwool Ablative Coated Batt is sent out from depots nationwide and is subject to the Local Depot Delivery minimum order levels and delivery charge thresholds.
Reasonable stock levels of popular thicknesses are held at larger depots. Please allow extended lead times where products need ot be sourced from the manufacturer before being delivered to site.

Fire stopping to service and void penetrations
Rockwools fire protection batt, Ablative Coated Batt, is specifically designed to provide fire stopping solutions to service and void penetrations in floors and walls.
Core: Durable non-combustable stone wool spun from volcanic rock, compressed and resin bonded into slabs.
Facings: Faced on both sides with a high performance ablative coating.

A single 50mm Ablative Coated Batt can provide up to 2 hours fire resistance integrity and insulation, ratings are dependent upon the service penetrations and void size. Where 4 hours integrity and insulation are required it is recommended to use 60mm Ablative Coated Batt.
