Non-combustible – Euroclass A1.
Reduce noise, either by impeding the transmission of sound through an element of the structure or by absorption of sound at the surface.
Made from diabase rock, which is a renewable and plentiful natural resource.
Does not contain gases that have ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP).
Thicknesses and Availability:
This Rockwool Range includes the following readily available product thicknesses 25mm, 30mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm (some thicknesses may only be available in pallet quantities as they will need to be sourced from the manufacturer before being delivered to site).

Rockwool RW5 is sent out from depots nationwide and is subject to the Local Depot Delivery minimum order levels and delivery charge thresholds.
Reasonable stock levels of popular thicknesses are held at larger depots. Please allow extended lead times where products need ot be sourced from the manufacturer before being delivered to site.

Thermal and Acoustic Building Slabs
Rockwools versatile RW5 building slabs, with a density of 100 kg/m³, are suitable for use in acoustic, thermal and fire protection applications in partitions, ceilings, floors, and roofs.
Core: Durable non-combustable stone wool spun from volcanic rock, resin bonded into slabs.
Facings: Unfaced as standard, however, we may be able to supply tissue or foil faced slabs on request, depending on requirements.
