Minimum Order Levels

We have a minimum order level of £175.00 + VAT, however, we can on occassion organise a smaller order to be made available for collection at the nearest depot to you, where stock is available.

Orders between £175.00 - £300.00 + VAT incur a delivery charge of £50.00 + VAT.
Orders between £300.00 - £825.00 + VAT incur a delivery charge of £25.00 + VAT.

Generally, orders over £825.00 + VAT do not incur any additional delivery charges, however, the following exceptions may apply:

Presently, a delivery charge trial is available with reduced charges for delivery locations within England & Wales on orders above £300.00 + VAT.
The following exceptions still apply - please contact me if you have any queries.
  • Deliveries to Highlands & Islands will likely incur additioanl delivery charges as we will need to use 3rd party services. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
  • On occassion where goods are not kept in stock at local depots and time does not allow for the goods to be moved from depot to depot, we may contact you to discuss 3rd party courier services, which may involve additional costs. We will always contact you to discuss the situation and potential costs before proceeding.

  • In some cases, items are sent direct from the manufacturer. If orders include items from the below manufacturers, additional delivery charges may apply to deliveries from local depots. We will, of course, always endeavour to keep additional charges to a minimum or, where possible, absorb the costs ourselves.
    • iTP building membranes
    • SolaTube sun pipes
    • Thermafleece natural and recycled insulation
    • Warmline insulated plasterboards

  • iTP products are shipped by courier direct to site from the manufacturer. When ordering iTP membranes, the manufacturer offers two methods of shipping:
    • Next day service: £25.00 + VAT
    • 2-3 days service: £20.00 + VAT
    • Additional delivery charges may also apply depending on other items ordered at the same time

  • Thermafleece products are shipped by courier direct to site from the manufacturer. When ordering Thermafleece insulation, the manufacturer charges £60.00 + VAT per pallet, while Thermafleece membrane delivery charges are calculated on a per roll basis *.
    • CosyWool Rolls: 12 x packs per pallet
    • SupaSoft Rolls: 12 x packs per pallet
    • CosyWool Slabs: 4 x packs per pallet
    • NatraHemp: 4 x packs per pallet
    • UltraWool: 4 x packs per pallet
    • Membranes: 1 - 4 rolls at £15.00 + VAT per roll. 4 + rolls at £60.00 + VAT.
      * When membranes are ordered with insulation, the membrane delivery charge is waived.
    • Additional delivery charges may also apply depending on other items ordered at the same time
    • The following 'highland' post codes carry a 25% surcharge per pallet/roll shipping cost: AB26-56, IV1-39, KW1-14, PH1-41, PA21-40, all DD codes.

  • Warmline products are delivered direct to site from the manufacturer. When ordering Warmline products, the following additional carriage charges may apply:
    • Warmline order total < £600.00 + VAT within the M25, a £50.00 + VAT carriage charge will apply
    • Warmline order total ≥ £600.00 + VAT within the M25, generally carrige paid, unless access restrictions or delivery location require the use of a courier
    • Additional delivery charges may also apply depending on other items ordered at the same time
    • The above assumes the Warmline delivery is to an address within the M25. While we can deliver Warmline products, for the most part, nationwide, additional charges will apply as we will need to use 3rd party carrier services to deliver the goods

Before progressing with orders that incur additional charges, we will always contact you to discuss and explain the additional costs to confirm you are still happy to proceed.

Unfortunately, the shopping cart system we use doesnt allow for multiple/specific delivery charges to certain products so rather than add hidden costs, and in an attempt to be as transparent as possible, I've provided the above information. Thank you for your understanding.

Online Order

We have tried to make our website as user friendly as possible, to enable you to place orders via the website as easily as possible.

Our website is secure. Payment processing is dealt with securely via our payment gateway - more secure for you as you do not need to hand your card details over the phone.

To order online, its as simple as finding the product(s) you require, ticking the box next to the product and adding them to the cart where you will need to update the quantities and check out.

By ordering online, limited neccesary information is stored by us.

Telephone Order

If you are unable to place your order online via our website, we may accept your order over the phone and process payment manually.

  • We do not accept Credit or Debit Card payments for telephone orders. (Exceptions may apply to existing customers)
  • In such cases, customers are requested to pay by Bank Transfer.
  • Payments by Bank Transfer require clearance prior to order processing and the delivery of goods.

This will take you to the shopping basket where you will need to press the 'Proceed to Checkout' button and fill in the requested details before proceeding to the secure debit/credit input page.

Once payment has been made, we will process the order and confirm the order and delivery date as quickly as possible.

Product Availability

For each product, we have provided a 'star rating' to offer approximate guidance on its availability. These ratings relate to the below details, which you will also find under each product or product group on the various pages where goods can be purchased. We do our very best to keep on top of product availability, however, on occassion due to high demand or supply issues that are not made clear to us, availability may change.

As a rule of thumb, I prefer to err on the side of caution and provide 'worse case' availability info ... more often than not, deliveries are made well within the suggested lead times.

Order Deliveries

Deliveries are generally made using 26 or 28 ton curtain sided rigid lorries; please ensure there is adequate access. As a rough guide, if a double decker bus can get to the property our vehicles should be able to as well.

In some cases, we may be able to deliver on smaller lorries, if your local depot has access to one. If a smaller lorry is required and the local depot does not have access to one, we can organise a 3rd party service to collect and deliver the goods to site, however, additional charges will apply.

Our deliveries are made on the basis of a curb-side delivery.

While we will confirm a delivery date, we are not able to provide delivery times.

Our deliveries will require a signature and thus, we are unable to deliver to un-manned sites.

Order Returns

We abide by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, and accept that our Customers have a seven-day 'cooling off' period from the day they receive their goods, in which time they may notify us that they wish to cancel their contract with us and request a refund be given, including delivery charges if applicable.

Where a Customer wants to return goods, they must be returned at the Customer's expense to the Delivering Depot within seven (7) days from receipt of Goods. Due to the large size, weight and fragility of the products we sell, these goods are not sold on a Sale-or-Return basis. Therefore, the organisation of, and payment for, collection and return delivery of unwanted goods will be born by the Customer, along with applicable restocking fees, for which a charge of up to forty percent of the purchase price, or £50.00, whichever is greater, will be charged.

Returned goods must be received in their original packaging, undamaged and in an ‘as new’ condition to allow their resale. Where goods were sold in packs, only the return of the entire pack, unopened and in its original condition, will be accepted.

In some cases, where products are sourced from the manufacturer for delivery to site, returns may not be possible.

Where goods are made to order specifically for you, unless the goods are faulty, returns will not be possible.

Refunds will be processed following successful receipt and inspection. Should the returned goods be deemed by our staff, or their agents, to be in a condition that is unsuitable for resale, we will not provide a refund, and the customer will be responsible for the collection or disposal of such goods as well as the costs incurred in their return.
